Techno

Techno music is an electronic dance music genre originating in mid-1980s Detroit. Characterized by a repetitive, 4/4 time signature with a steady kick drum on every beat, often at 120–150 BPM. Prominent features include: synthetic basslines, hypnotic loops, shuffled or syncopated percussion, minimalistic arrangements, dark or futuristic atmospheres, heavy use of reverb and delay, and occasional distorted or robotic vocals.
