Artist Name Check

When you create an artist/band name, always verify online that the name hasn’t already been used. You can use your preferred general AI chatbot (ChatGPT, Grok, DeepSeek etc.) for this check.

Search online and confirm if the band/artist name '______' is already taken. Include any existing bands, artists, or notable uses.

If your name is already used, then use this prompt:

Suggest 5 unused alternative names similar to '______' for a band/artist, with a short reason for each.

As a final backup, run your new chosen artist name through the original prompt.

Also search for the name online using Spotify and YouTube.

If you have selected a single name for the artist, consider adding a letter to make the name less common. For example, if your new artist name is 'Simone', add any one or two letter to make 'Simone __', or add a surname.
